Car Insurance Plymouth (Car Insurance). how much would it cost to change my 2007 Lancer ES from an automatic to a manuel?

how much would it cost to change my 2007 Lancer ES from an automatic to a manuel?

About $3700 , more than the car is worth , sorry More time and money than you'll feel is worth it by the time you're done. Saving up money and buying a manual car would be a much better decision, especially if you decide to trade in the Lancer for it.

How dangerous are motorbikes? At the age of 18 I'm still desperate to get a 125cc motorbike. Many of my mates have progressed from scooters at the age of 16 to 125's now. The problem being my mum is majorly anti bike. I don't know whether she completely over exaggerates the dangers of a bike or not as none of my 4 friends that ride have died yet. Plymouth . How to Remove Windex Chemical Smell From the Inside a of Car

The smell of Windex or other cleaning chemicals might make people more virtuous. Researchers at Brigham Young University conducted a study in 2009 that suggests that people are more fair and generous when they smell odors from cleaning products while in a room that was recently spritzed with window cleaners. But if you find the odors of chemical cleaning products offensive, you can take a few steps to eliminate them and avoid them in the future.
Difficulty:Moderately Easy
Instructions Things You'll Need
Baking soda
Odor neutralizing spray
Scented car freshener
Vinegar
Spray bottle

Step by Step :
1
Air out the car by running the air conditioner for 10 minutes, or open the windows for at least four hours. Odors from chemical cleaners burn off fairly quickly. This might be enough to let the Windex smell dissipate on its own.
2
Neutralize the odor by placing an opened box of baking soda on the floor in the front of the car and spraying an odor neutralizing spray inside the entire car. Avoid spraying directly on the windows as this might streak or fog the clean windows.
3
Remove the the baking soda before you drive the car to avoid baking soda spills on the carpet. If it is accidentally spilled, it will sweep or vacuum up easily.
4
Replace the Windex odor with another smell by hanging a scented car freshener on the rear view mirror, or use the type of freshener that is designed to clip onto the car's air vent. When you turn on the heat or air conditioning, it blows a light fragrance through the car. The air freshener will cover any remaining offensive odor with another, more natural scent that you might find more appealing.
5
Prevent future Windex chemical smells by cleaning with natural products. A mixture of one part vinegar and two parts water that has been poured in a spray bottle can be used to clean windows, most interior car surfaces and upholstery. Do not spray on leather. Vinegar has a slight odor, but some find it less offensive than commercially prepared window cleaners.
Tips & Warnings
Odor neutralizing sprays are sold under several brand names and can be found in most grocery or big box stores.

Vinegar is better for the environment than commercially prepared window cleaners.

Spray odor neutralizing sprays while keeping at least one car door open to avoid possibly inhaling the spray.

Plymouth . How to Remove Musty Smells From Car Upholstery

Car upholstery is exposed to dust, moisture and, in some cases, food and other types of grime. When this begins to decay on the upholstery fibers, a musty smell may develop. Even moisture alone, from spills or from rain coming in through a rolled-down window, causes a musty odor if the upholstery doesn't dry quickly. A musty smell on upholstery often does not get better with time. There are things you can do to alleviate this smell, however.
Difficulty:Moderate
Instructions Things You'll Need
Upholstery brush
Vacuum
Laundry detergent
Bucket
Sponge
Baking soda

Step by Step :
1
Brush the upholstery with an upholstery brush to loosen soil from the material. Vacuum the upholstery. Go over the entire surface with the vacuum cleaner, including all cracks and crevices where crumbs may hide.
2
Pour a capful of laundry detergent into a bucket of warm water. Use a sponge to lightly dampened and wipe down all the upholstery.
3
Rinse out the sponge with water and go over the upholstery again to remove excess detergent. Open all the car doors to let the upholstery air out and dry.
4
Sprinkle a light dusting of baking soda on the upholstery. Brush it lightly into the upholstery material with your upholstery brush. Apply more baking soda to the upholstery. Leave it on the upholstery overnight, as Carpet Wizzard suggests for removing musty odors from carpet.
5
Vacuum the upholstery the following day to remove excess baking soda.

Facing the flywheel is the first part of the clutch. This disk-shaped plate is called a clutch disk. When you are not stepping on the clutch pedal, this disk is forced against the flywheel (see Step 4). A coating of friction material causes the two plates to adhere to each other, which forces them to turn at the same speed. 4. Next to the clutch disk is the clutch pressure plate. This mechanism forces the clutch disk against the flywheel or allows it to move away from the flywheel when it is time to change gears. Here's how it does that: • When you step on the clutch pedal to disengage the clutch and disconnect the engine from the transmission, a clutch release arm forces a throwout bearing into the pressure plate's release levers. As a result, the pressure on the clutch disk is released, and the disk can turn independently of the flywheel. 1 7Q Part II: What Makes It Go? • After you move the gearshift to the proper gear, you release the clutch pedal. This movement causes springs in the pressure plate to force the disk against the flywheel again, and both the disk and the flywheel resume spinning together at a new speed.

In this way, the clutch disk can catch up with an engine that is turning faster — or more slowly — than before and can transmit its motion to the transmission. 5. On the clutch side of the flywheel, the drive train continues, but its name changes. It is not called the crankshaft anymore; it is now called the transmission input shaft because it carries the power via the turning shaft into the transmission. It rotates at the same speed and in the same direction as all the parts I've covered up to now. 6. Inside the transmission is a group of gears of varying sizes. These gears can move together and apart, in various combinations, to determine how fast and with how much power the car's wheels will turn, and in which direction. 7. The next part of the drive train emerges from the other side of the transmission, with another new name. This time it is called the transmission output shaft because it transmits the power that the transmission is putting out to the driveshaft.

8. The driveshaft of a rear-wheel-drive vehicle with a conventional engine has a U-joint (short for universal joint) at either end. The U-joints enable the driveshaft to move freely without affecting the more rigid transmission shaft at one end, and to absorb the vertical movement of the rear axle and wheels at its other end. Figure 9-3: The differential causes the axle and the rear wheels to move at right angles to the spinning driveshaft. . Chapter 9: Take the Drive Train: Understanding Transmissions... 77 / On cars with transverse engines, you can find the U-joints where each axle joins the transaxle and where each connects with the car's drive wheels. The differential (see Figure 9-3) is another box of gears that takes the movement of the spinning driveshaft through a 90-degree angle to the axle that turns the drive wheels. It also allows each side of the axle to rotate at a different speed.
